The SafeFarm Basic Tractor Safety is all about improving Farm Safety.
The SafeFarm Tractor Safety Induction Training will provide basic safety instructions for those working with or around tractors. This course should be used in conjunction with your on-site, farm-specific induction to on the job training.
Topic Covered:
The course covers the following topics:-
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Safety Overview
- Pre- Operation Inspection
- Safe Operating Procedures
- Recognising Hazards
- Power take-offs (PTO)
- Emergency Procedures
Who should do this Course?
Anyone planning to work on or visit a farming enterprise.
Anyone wanting to better understand the risk associated with basic tractor safety.
Anyone wanting to improve their own safety and farm safety in general.
Time and Assessments:
This course will take approximately 20 minutes and includes a 9 questions assessment upon completion.
A pass mark of 80% is required and all participants who achieve the pass mark or more will be issued with a Certificate of Completion for their own records.
