The SafeFarm Citrus Picking Safety Induction by OTrain is all about giving you the basics to safely and productively pick Citrus Fruits.

It is a generic picking guide and is designed to be completed in addition to our HortCard Pre Employment Safety Induction.

Our Citrus Fruit Picking Course covers a range of topics to help you safely get started.

Farm Safety is the number one priority for most farmers, and it needs to be for you too. This guide will help draw your attention to some of the risks and controls when picking Citrus Fruits.

A growing number of employers are insisting on staff having completed their SafeFarm Citrus Picking Safety Induction training prior to be able to work on their Citrus farming operations.

Time and Assessments:

This course will take approximately 10 minutes and includes a 10 questions assessment upon completion.

A pass mark of 80% is required and all participants who achieve the pass mark or more will be issued with a Certificate of Completion for their own records.

Prior Learning:

This course can be completed as a standalone course.
It is recommended that people complete the SafeFarms HortCard Induction course also prior to commencing work on farm.
