The Hay Safety Course  is all about giving you the basics to safely and productively deliver and stack hay.

It is a generic hay safety guide and is designed to be completed in addition to site-specific training provided on-site by your employer.

The Hay Safety Course covers a range of topics to help you safely get started.

Farm Safety is the number one priority for most farmers, and it needs to be for you too. This guide will help draw your attention to some of the risks and controls when delivering and stacking hay.

A growing number of employers are insisting on staff having completed the Hay Safety Course training prior to be able to work on their farming operations.

This course has been created in conjunction with Feed Central.

1. Arriving at the farm
2. Setting up exclusion zones
3. Unloading safety
4. Stacking Safety

Who should do this Course?

Anyone planning to work on a farm with any association with hay in Australia.

Anyone wanting to better understand the risk associated with the delivery and stacking of hay.

Anyone wanting to improve their own safety and farm safety in general.

Time and Assessments:

This course will take approximately 10 minutes and includes a 10 questions assessment during the course.

A pass mark of 100% is required and all participants who achieve the pass mark or more will be issued with a Certificate of Completion for their own records.

Prior Learning:

This course can be completed as a standalone course.
